28 degrees Fahrenheit tastes a lot like butter.

It's cold in GradShitTowneVille. There's snow on the ground; the sidewalks with unshoveled snow have been transformed into bumpy Slip 'N Slides. I've been keeping up with the dog's walks, but I feel like the 25 minute adventures in the sub-freezing temperatures have thrown my body into some kind of hibernation mode. Eating a whole stick of butter sounds like a great idea, which disturbs my rational half.

Perhaps hot chocolate would be a better idea?

Me too! I was thinking how good crap legs would be, then I realized all I really wanted was the melted butter. Then we ordered a pizza.

Hot chocolate! Hm. Fabulous idea, but not quite caloric enough. I shall extend this fabulous idea: Hot chocolate made with sweetened condensed milk, like a kind of astronaut paste. Or perhaps a sauce for my butter pizza. Mmmmmm.

My rational half thinks hot chocolate will do just fine. :)

I used to know someone who would put a pat of butter on the top of their hot chocolate. I can't remember who it was. Seems kinda weird, but maybe your rational and irrational selves could find some common ground?

:)

kb. You ought to go into diplomacy. I will try this out.

My uncle could eat on butter peeling the paper down like a banana when he was a kid. Its only on days like you mention that I can even try to imagine doing that. Don't ask me what my grandma was thinking when she allowed him to do that. Did she actually hand a little boy a stick of butter?
